Beginning Wednesday, May 7, the road closure on Second Avenue will expand to include the section between Mission Street and Haines Highway, resulting in a full closure from Main Street to Haines Highway. The road will remain closed through June 1, 2025.
Motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists are reminded to follow all posted traffic signs and detours. Access to properties and businesses will remain available through designated secondary access roads and pedestrian walkways to ensure safe and continued movement for all residents and visitors. Emergency vehicle access will also be maintained at all times.
