Starting Monday, June 9, HiEx Construction will begin repairs on Cathedral View Drive, with work continuing through July 30. Construction will include gravel resurfacing and culvert repair/replacement on both Cathedral View Drive and Hooter Lane. This Haines Borough project is one of several FEMA-funded efforts to repair damage from the December 2020 storm.
Traffic control will be in place to maintain and facilitate local access throughout construction. Expect single-lane closures, some of which will be flagged, depending on the work being performed. Please drive carefully and watch for signage, especially near the Cathedral View intersection with the Haines Highway.
