Murder Mystery

FAQ’s:

I’m scared “to death” because I’ve never participated in a murder mystery before!!

You’re not alone … most of us haven’t either! You’ll be fine. You can work alone, with somebody, and/or with your team at your table.

OK … what do I do when I get there?
You wil receive a sealed envelope which contains an individual clue along with a “reserved” seating card. After writing your name on the card, place it on a table to reserve your seat. (Tables of 8 can be reserved in advance.) Then, it’s time to mingle! You will want to obtain “clues” from the scene and others while sharing your personal clue. No wallflowers!!!!

How long is it going to last?
Approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours of non-stop fun. Stay as long as you like with even more entertainment and music following.

What is going to be served?
What does French cuisine mean? The evening begins with several yummy hors devourves, while the main entree boasts a delicious Coq au Vin, fresh Salade Verde, and French bread with herb butter. Desserts will include a variety of sweets, including chocolate mousse. Coffee and tea will be available.

What will the bar serve?
Beer, wine by the glass or bottle, cocktails and/or soft drinks.

What should I wear?
We’d love to see you in party attire — however, if tweed jackets, trenchcoats, or Carharts are part of your “character” — go for it! Magnifying glasses, optional.

Where do I start?
Purchase a ticket at the Babbling Book where more information about the murder will be given to you. Be sure to list your email adderess as even more information (clues) will be sent on …
Saturday morning … “The Nippy Valley Grapevine”, the local newspaper

When do we find out who dunnit???
Teams will work together to come to a conclusion of WHO, WHY, HOW this murder was committed and what facts may have led you to this conclusion. The answer is sealed is an envelope to be given at the end of the evening — even the suspects don’t know — WHO DUNNIT!!!
