The Haines Borough Public Library has once again been designated as a Star Library by the industry’s leading periodical, Library Journal. 2012 is our fifth year in a row to earn the highest honor for libraries nationwide. Only 108 libraries in the country have won five Stars for their service. This year, over 9,000 public libraries in the United States were reviewed for this designation.
