Any adult amateur community theatre company, including children's theatre which a) has been organized for at least one year prior to ACTFEST and has produced at least 2 shows prior to its entry; and b) has a decision-making board from the community. Not permitted to perform as actors are members of Actors Equity active at any time during the festival cycle.
What May Be Presented?
- A cutting of a full-length play or musical, a one-act play or any performance of a theatrical nature.
- Total length of the production must not exceed 60 minutes.
- Productions winning at the state and regional levels must be performed in the same form at the national level.

Is there a Fee?
Yes. Entry Fee is $150.00, and the theatre organization must be a member of ACTFEST. Biennial membership is $100.00. A participation fee of $30.00 each participant includes all the shows and workshops.

Is there any Financial Help?
ACTFEST maintains an aggressive fundraising campaign in an effort to help theatre organizations with the expense of getting to the festival. Contact the organizers for more information.
